New ‘Lifted’ Date Released: A gentle afternoon to slow right down

If life has been feeling a little full lately, I’ve just released a new date for Lifted: Gentle Yoga, Yin, Myo + Nidra Reset.

This time, we’ll be gathering in a beautiful new venue, while keeping the same cosy, calming feel that made the first Lifted so special.

Saturday 6 June
3.30pm to 6pm
Ullesthorpe Village Memorial Hall

What is Lifted?

Lifted is a gentle, unhurried afternoon designed to help you soften, unwind, and put some of the weight of everyday life down for a while.

We move slowly through a blend of:

  • Gentle yoga to arrive in the body and release surface tension
  • Yin and myofascial release to ease deeper layers of tightness
  • Restorative rest and yoga nidra for deep relaxation and nervous system support

Throughout the session, essential oils are gently diffused, adding a subtle layer of calm to the space.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about softening, slowing down, and allowing the body to settle.

Why this kind of session matters

So many of us are moving through busy days, holding tension without even realising it.

Sessions like Lifted give you the chance to:

  • release built-up tension in the body
  • calm the nervous system
  • rest more deeply than you usually allow yourself to
  • feel more spacious, grounded and at ease

It’s often not until you pause that you notice how much you’ve been carrying.

Who it’s for

This afternoon is for you if:

  • life feels busy, full or a little overwhelming
  • your body feels tight, tired or tense
  • you find it hard to switch off
  • you’re craving a slower, softer space to rest and reset

No previous yoga experience is needed. Everything is guided, with options throughout.
